Fraud Awareness Week

International Fraud Awareness Week is happening from 17 to 23 November 2024. It encourages entities to minimise the impact of fraud by promoting fraud awareness and education.

We celebrate Fraud Awareness Week each year by hosting presentations on key topics for counter-fraud professionals working in the public sector.

Our Fraud Awareness Week theme for 2024 is:

Half human and half android face next to the words, ‘The face of fraud is changing: Collaboration is more important than ever’
The face of fraud is changing: Collaboration is more important than ever

During the week, we will host a range of domestic and international experts. They will discuss the emerging threats of technology and how we can counter these threats through effective collaboration. We will release more information about our webinars soon

We have prepared promotional products to help you raise awareness of the changing face of fraud and the importance of collaboration in your entity. The toolkit contains:

  • key messages for all APS officials
  • a digital poster
  • screensavers
  • signature blocks
  • an article
  • a case study
  • downloadable PowerPoint templates.

We recommend working with your communication and media team to have this promotional material displayed.
