Our 2020 quarter 3 achievements
In Q3, our achievements included:
- launching the Centre’s dedicated counter fraud website which includes new guidance, real-life case studies and a comprehensive countermeasures database
- supporting the adoption of pressure testing across the Commonwealth including the successful completion of two pilots and running a third community of practice meeting
- further developing guidance material for counter fraud practitioners such as our extensive fraud countermeasures catalogue and our new guide on how to start pressure testing
- producing a consultation draft on leading practice guidance for fraud risk assessment
- working with AIC to analyse fraud trends and patterns affecting the Commonwealth during 2015 - 2020
- helping partners advance multiple data sharing pilots and capturing lessons to support the development of leading practice guidance
- meeting with entities to revisit the results of the Counter Fraud Capability Baseline Assessments and discuss support going forward
- producing a high-level report on the Capability Baseline Assessment Project conclusions.
