Fraud and Corruption Capability Self Assessment Tool
The Fraud and Corruption Capability Self Assessment Tool can help Commonwealth officials assess their current and target level of counter fraud and anti-corruption organisational capability. This aligns with paragraph 4.3 of the Commonwealth Fraud and Corruption Policy, which requires non-corporate Commonwealth entities to maintain an appropriate level of capability to effectively manage fraud and corruption risks.
The results of this self-assessment may inform an entity's assessment for Principle 5 – Prevent, detect and manage fraud and corruption under the Commonwealth Integrity Maturity Framework.
The tool is not designed to assess an entity's compliance with the Commonwealth Fraud and Corruption Control Framework (framework). To assess compliance with the framework, entities would need to consider whether they are meeting the specific requirements set out under section 10 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 and, for non-corporate Commonwealth entities, the Commonwealth Fraud and Corruption Policy. The work undertaken by an entity to complete this capability self-assessment would help inform an assessment of the entity’s compliance with the framework.
